Water Pumps
Irving's Plumbing distributes water pumps for moving water and
waste in a plumbing system. A water pump is a device used to move water
from a lower pressure area to higher pressure area, and overcomes this
difference in pressure by adding energy to the process, i.e., a water
system. Energy is added to the process by means of mechanical forces to
push the water by physically lifting the water or by the force of compression.
This also includes water pumps that can move water containing suspended
solids or particulates, i.e., waste water. While wastewater is best handled
by wastewater or sewage pumps, water pumps are designed mostly for handling
ground water, potable water and salt water. Water pumps are widely used
in water supply distribution and wastewater removal applications. Choose

Circulator Pumps

Typically,
our basements are used as storage for valuable items. In other cases,
basements have been finished and are used as home offices, gyms,
or recreation lounges. So any water flooding the basement can cause
significant damage to both the property and one's belongings. A
sump pump is your first line of defense against the potential disasters
associated with flooding. They are a type of water pump that is
placed in an excavated hole (called a sump pit) in the basement.

We
supply circulator pumps by Armstrong Pumps which eliminate hot water
shortages by recirculating the water in a continuous hot water pipe
loop. We are all familiar with the problem of hot water shortages
especially during peak periods of the day. This is often due to
the fact that more hot water is being consumed by various hot water
outlets faster than it can be heated by the water heater. >>

Sewage Pumps

Unlike
the typical sump which has the motor on the top of the apparatus
and the pump at the bottom, submersible pumps are designed to be
submerged in water and sit on the bottom of the sump. In this case
the motor is sealed in an oil-filled cavity that is protected from
contact with the water. The motor can operated by a switch that
is either a ball float connected to an internal pressure switch
or a sealed, adjustable, mercury-activated float switch. >>

Sewage
pumps are used for getting rid of water that contains solids, i.e.,
wastewater, produced mostly by using the bathroom or kitchen in
residential or commercial buildings. Liberty's LE100-series is a
1 hp sewage pump with 2" solids-handling capability. Constructed
of heavy cast iron with a tough epoxy powder coat finish and stainless
steel fasteners, the LE100 is designed for years of trouble-free
performance. >> Learn more
